As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Personal Trainer, Ashley has placed herself in a position to support whole beings! She provides direct counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and the aging population. She assesses and diagnoses a wide array of mental, emotional, behavioral, and physical health issues, including but not limited to Depression and other Mood Disorders, Obesity, Anxiety Disorders, Childhood Trauma, Adjustment Disorders, and Communication Issues.
Throughout her extensive career, she has gained the knowledge and experience essential to supporting individuals and families in various domains of life. Personal challenges related to weight loss after children led to her involvement in the world of fitness. As she began the intensive work involved in gaining control over her physical health, it became evident that the hardest work involved the mindset. Realizing that she could place herself in a unique position to support individuals in pursuit of physical health with this mindset component and also utilize physical health interventions in the support of individuals coping primarily with mental health concerns, she dove into the world of personal training through education and experience; subsequently gaining a national certification.
She currently serves as one of few clinicians in the area who is qualified, certified and licensed to provide both physical health and mental health services to those in need!
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys traveling, visiting theme parks, and exploring Florida’s springs with her husband and three children. She also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and mentoring future social workers.
